Starting at armpit with shorter circular needle, pick up and knit 44 (46, 50, 52) sts around armhole [22 (23, 25, 26) sts on each side of shoulder seam]. Join and work 1 rnd in purl, then bind off as follows: *K2tog tbl, place st on right needle back on left needle, repeat from * until all sts are bound off.
Weave in ends.
